In the spring of 2007 I was artist in residence at Youkobo Art Space Tokyo, where I made a digital project about all aspects of nightlife in this town; going out, working, family life etc. I started up with a show of Den Haag nightlife in the gallery and exchanged photo’s day by day into Tokyo nightlife. So actually during my stay the show turned from Den Haag nightlife into Tokyo nightlife. Every evening I went out on the street, sometimes with a clear purpose, sometimes just to catch the subway to see what was happening. Also I visited private houses, working situations and clubs and enjoyed the cherryblossomparties at different locations.
